Assia Benziane: Life with no regrets

Assia Benziane is Deputy Mayor for women’s rights and equality of the Eastern Parisian suburb Fontenay-sous-Bois. At the age of 17, she became the founder of several schools for women in Algeria. Today, this radiantly positive 26-year-old woman is actively involved in local politics. She is the elected member of the Municipal Council; she also runs her own association in France. Assia talks to us about her mission to promote equal rights and opportunities for all women and girls and she sheds light on how to live life with no regrets.

Chiara Condi – Led by HER to Success

Chiara Condi is founder and president of Led by HER association, created in 2014 in Paris. The purpose of this organization is to help women who have suffered from violence rebuild their lives through entrepreneurship. Led by HER is currently a unique program in this area in France.

Marine Baron became known in France for her book “The Lieutenant” based on her 2 years army experience. Marine was serving in the French Marine Corps and was unpleasantly surprised by the attitude towards women in the military. She resigned and a few months later published her first autobiographical book “The Lieutenant. What It’s Like To Be A Woman In The French Army“. Marine is an active woman of many interests. She is currently writing her third book. Besides, she is working on her thesis in philosophy. She also practices martial arts and plays the cello. Maryse Viseur: A Woman Who Dares

aryse Viseur is the President of the French organisation Femme Avenir. She is also known in the world of sports as an International referee in Canoe/Kayak. This extraordinary woman was awarded the highest French civilian distinction, Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honour). Subsequently, she was recognised for her service to France with the insignia of Chevalier de l’Ordre national du Mérite (Knight of the National Order of Merit). Notwithstanding, she doesn’t see herself exceptional. She doesn’t like to talk about success per se, but she believes courage opens every door.
